Jonny Day was born in Lincolnshire, England. After A-Levels, Jonny decided to specialise in photography. Following completion of his degree in photography from Batley School of Art and Design, he moved to London where he immediately began working with some of the most sort after photographers of the moment. These included Helmut Newton, Nick Knight, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Miles Aldridge, Kevin Westenberg, David Lachapelle, Tim Richmond, Neil Kirk, Daniela Federici, Iris Brosch to name but a few which helped him build an invaluable experience and reputation in the photographic world. After years of travelling the globe and being fortunate enough to have worked with these great photographers, he then decided in 2008 it was time to go on his own. He is now in his own right a reputable and up and coming photographer. |
